This fly is fabulously simple to tie and extremely effective with rainbow trout. During the last late autumn trip to Skaliczka (a reservoir in the Czech Republic), half of the trout I caught were on this fly.
The secret behind this fly is the bright pink brass bead (metalic type of bead). The darker shade of pink was not effective that day.
Materials:
Hook: Hanak H260BL no. 8-12 (here no. 10)
Thread: UNI 8/0 white
Tail and body: white marabou
Bead: brass Metalic Light Pink 3.3mm
