Black & Red wet fly

I love wet fly fishing, sinking line or even better an intermediate line, long casts and we don’t quite know what we can catch?

We all know the Red Tag wet fly, so why not wet fly with a red hackle?  I did and it worked.

Black basic color, a bit of pearl sparkle at the end, purple UV dubbing under the hackle and good quality grizzly saddle hackle dyed in red.

For this wet fly I caught trout and chub last year.

Hook: Partridge Ideal Nymph #12 (perfect for wet fly too)

Tag: pearl UTC Midge Tinsel

Body: black FMFly Natural UV Dubbing, gold fine wire, Hareline Ice Dub UV Purple

Hackle: Ewing Saddle Grizzly dyed Red
