Flashback Pheasant Tail Nymph

Extremely effective nymph pattern, variation of the Pheasant Tail Nymph, which is undoubtedly the most used nymph in the last 2 or 3 years. It works great both in clear and dirty water.

It is worth having several sizes of this Flashback Pheasant Tail Nymph, from large ones with tungsten beads for fishing for deep places, to smaller ones, which you can use as a dropper fly.

Materials:

Hook: scud type no. 8-14

Bead: gold, brass or tungsten

Tail and body: pheasant tail fibers + lead wire

Rib: copper wire

Back: Veniard Pearl Film

Collar: Ice Dub in Peacock Black color + UNI 6/0 Fire Orange thread
