Its popularity owes its effectiveness in many fisheries throughout the entire season, so you should have it in many sizes and types.
In bigger sizes of the bead head pheasant tail nymph can be used the lead wire, but personally if I do not need it, I do not use it. Such nymphs looks more natural, are slimmer and in my opinion in clean water of river or straem are more effective.

Hook: no. 8-16, here no.10
Thread: UNI 8/0 brown
Tail and body: natural brown pheasant tail
Rib: copper fine wire
Head: gold 3,2mm
Hackle: brown hen
