Spring for me is the time for fly fishing with a streamer and wet flies. Just for this time I have tied a baitfish imitation where I have used syntetic and natural material and finished with a dyed grizzly feathers.
In this way realistic looking the baitfish imitation was tied with a strongly accented belly.
Materials:
Hook: Fmfly 301s
Thread: UNI Mono Fine
Body: Ultra Chenille Standard Fl. Orange
Wing: Baitfish hair in silver + Hareline Ice Dub Minnow Back Shimmer Fringe + dyed grizzly feathers
Head: 5mm eyes with UV Loon glue
